Love this. Makes a huge difference to the process, incredible build quality (metal one). Only thing is I wish is that auto switch off time could be shortened and that it could be slightly sped up.
I've had my Slow Feeder Metal for a month or so and to my mind it's an absolute game changer.
It's by no means cheap, but what I can say in defense of the metal one is that it's heavy; it's robust and is extremely well engineered.
The guys at CremaLoop have knocked this one right out the park. Coupled with the Graph Coffee 58:46mm step-down basket and now their new 58:36mm step-down baskets, it yields a cleaner, sweeter, and more predictable coffee extraction.

I would've undoubtedly given it five stars if it was a bit cheaper. Having said that, I was astonished at the awesome build quality.
Looks and feels like it's factory original, does exactly what it's intended for and looks good during it.

A great addition to my coffee addiction and certainly a time saver. Beautifully designed and built and looks at home attached to the DF54. There are a couple of things though, the fit of the adaptor to the grinder is not firm and it wobbles ... I resolved this with a couple of turns of thread tape. And, the slow speed is just too slow, I run mine at maximum speed and feel that is about the optimum speed to feed the beans at.
What is Slow Feeding?
Slow feeding is the practice of introducing coffee beans into the grinder gradually rather than all at once.
By regulating the feed rate, the grinder runs under a lighter, more consistent load, allowing the burrs to cut each bean cleanly instead of crushing or fracturing it under pressure.
