DF64 Gen 1/2 Blind Shaker Holder and MHW-3BOMBER Shaker | Weber Workshop | Metal Cup Holder

The holder holds Weber shaker in place. It holds well the default serving cup from DF too. The only complaint I have is noise. The grinder itself is noisy, and additionally I hear now those rattling noises from the cup. I think, instead of shaping the holder for the shaker bottom, it would be better to have a flat rubber support with elevated edges.

2 main issues:
1. On filter grind settings, the grounds bounce off off the round center piece of the shaker and gets all over my counter. Tilting the shaker away from the grinder fixes this mostly.
2. On espresso settings, the mound of grounds start to pile up very high and can reach the grinder chute. If it gets too high, the machine needs to be thoroughly cleaned otherwise grounds coming out become clumpy.

I was sent a 54mm handle on accident to go with the 58mm shaker. This was not an issue as I reached out to MHW Bomber and they promptly responded and sent me the correct one. Very pleased with the product. Still has a bit of retention, but that's to be expected and nothing to complain about. I wiped it down with some rubbing alcohol fresh out of the box and that helped. Overall this is a great product if you want to dose directly into a blind shaker and eliminate the need for WDT.

I have a Breville that uses 54mm basket. I needed something to ensure distribution of grounds uniformly, and something to hold the shaker.

While obviously not as nice as the original metal attachment this one feels as solid as a 3D print can be.
One thing is that it doesn't absorb the vibrations as well as the original attachment which boasted silicon sleeves.
I'll look into adding some silicon padding myself as the blind shaker can rattle quite loudly when the grinder is running.
