This is a very good slow feeder. It is a good height that even with my tall Philos, slides under the counter. The seller has been responsive to questions and advice. Shipping time was reasonable. The unit feeds a a consistent rate. I chose the 2 hoke adaptor ring. By eliminating rdgri di g the super fines are minimized allowing a finer grind setting due to a more consistent grind size.

Very helpful to get the whole dose especially if you use it as a single dose grinder! Without it I had often more than 10% which I didn't get out and three times later I got 30% too much or nothing anymore because the grinder was blocked. Since I use the tilted base, I never had this malfunction anymore. Thanks very much!!!

Arrived to Australia quickly and in great condition. Has transformed my grinder- makes a significant difference to the amount of retention. A must for all DF83 grinders.

The variations are good, though sometimes beans get stuck in the grooves as the resulting thicker plastic ring tends to "hold" the beans. So I just use the original disc. Works fine.

Bought this for two reasons: reducing static, and reducing retention. It accomplishes both of those, 0 complaints

It has improved my Workflow a lot

I had an Eureka grinder for ages. With this kit, and a bit of a tilt, I turned it into a single dose, low retention solution I needed for a fraction of a price of a new grinder. I'm happy.
The quality is very good, and it ticks all the boxes for me. I wish the hopper would slide in a bit further, though. I jammed it as far as I could, but the gap is present, creating a place where the detritus gathers. Other than this, I cannot fault it. 4.5/5

Works well. Gets me to a ‘full weight in full weight out’ measurement.
Clean up is now WAY easier

It works perfectly and manages to convert the Eureka into single-dose mode. The only downside is that the tray does not stay magnetically attached to the base despite having magnets for that purpose.

I'm reviewing this feeder after having less than a month of use. So definitely not a long term review - which I prefer for usefulness. I'm using this feeder with a Niche Zero and Niche Duo with the hot start kit and bellows that is available. The DF64 version of the CremaLoop feeder works like a charm with this combo. It does do an extraordinary job in doling out the beans. It greatly reduces fines in grinding coffee. Do I have a particle distribution tool? NO. But, required grinding requires a much finer grind. One negative that I've encountered: I have found that the feeder can stall on a stuck bean. No big deal, just push the stuck bean out where it is jammed. It's going to take time to figure out the taste impacts. My first expectation that I cannot prove yet, is that a there is major benefit in having conical burrs using this feeder for pour over with light roasts. I'm not sure what the positive or negative impacts are for conical espresso; but I'm guessing that they would not be much of an improvement in this case if any. Coffee is fifth dimensional chess, so this adds another dimension onto popular grinders that is only available with grinders with a build-in auger. This is an elegant solution for a great deal of the grinder market.
