Putting the shaker holder in was very easy!
I use a Craig Lyn blink shaker now, which is not one of the supported ones so I admit that this product probably wasn't designed for it. The shaker rattles something awful given the overpowered motor of the DF83. This makes me scared to rest it on the holder, due to damage and potential spillage.
This being said, it's a lot more convenient than the old portafilter handler sticking out, so I still recommend it over nothing. I guess I could have just removed the portafilter to achieve the same result. Or maybe this is me being a worrywart and accepting the rattling is fine?
A last thing that is a minor annoyance, cleaning grind leakage out of the ridged holder is harder than cleaning it off the base. Not fatal, just texturally unpleasing when I want to do a thorough clean.
Does what it's supposed to.
works great with many types of cups
Surface is a bit rougher than expected but this is typical for 3d printed parts. Does not influence function only a cosmetic aspect.
Perfect for use. Glad I found this
