Very well made device. Slow feeding lets me grind significantly finer while maintaining reasonable shot times. Generally good results in the cup.

Generally good but with one flaw
The build quality of the slow feeder is very good, and is well matched to my DF54 grinder. The only flaw is that the feeder sometimes jams and stops spinning, requiring one to manually turn the feeder to get it going again. The feed path needs to be re-engineered to avoid this problem.

Variable Speed is a step backwards
The feed rate control knob doesn't remain in a fixed position. Therefore, the quality of the grind varies continuously. The previous slow feeder with separate, hole-shaped wheels remained constant and is therefore preferable.
